To create this postmodern marvel, the master craftsmen at James David Custom Homes began by completely gutting the existing 1960s ranch-style home. The first floor was remodeled, and a second story was added, nearly doubling the size of the original 3,000 square foot structure. An open floor plan and touches of metal and concrete gave our clients’ new home the right amount of industrial styling they were looking for. Hand-applied wall textures, custom wood paneling and designer wallpaper ensured a sense of warmth. Finally, we modified the existing pool, hardscaping and landscaping to match the new home’s aesthetic.
