This client was preparing to retire and move into his forever dream home—a gorgeous Laguna Beach property with an amazing ocean view. He learned about James David Custom Homes through “Coast Magazine” and chose us to be his builder. As a bridge-building engineer who had his own company, he knew exactly what he wanted in the home’s overall design: a specific modern chic look that he and his wife could enjoy for many years. The home was on a hillside, and we needed to build a 650 square foot deck with eight caissons placed 34 feet into the earth to support it. We also added a 450 square foot room and did a complete interior and exterior remodel. In the end, our engineer client’s retirement dream home materialized with beauty and precision.
